Save the date: 29 July, 2025 – Durham University and online

From early 2025, organisations will be able to apply to take part in the 2025 History Day North exhibition as part of the Discovering Collections Discovering Communities conference.

History Day brings together students, researchers and anyone with an interest in history with collections professionals from galleries, libraries, archives, museums and research organisations. A collaborative endeavour between Senate House Library and the Institute of Historical Research (IHR), the annual event has been held online and in-person at Senate House in London.

Partnering with DCDC for another year, History Day North provides a unique opportunity, outside of London, for attendees and organisations, to showcase, network and explore history collections.

An exciting part of the DCDC25 programme, History Day North is free to attend. Admission can be booked as a part of the DCDC registration or a History Day only ticket.
